Trailer Conventions - Introduction

For the beginning of my A2 research, I will be looking at the teaser trailers, TV spots and theatrical trailers for two different films - The Dark Knight Rises and Inception - and listing the conventions found in each of the different types of trailers. Then, I am going to compare the differences found in the three trailers for each film, to see how each type of trailer differs and to see if there is consistency across teasers, TV spots and theatrical trailers.
