Conventions Used on My Film Poster

I tried to use as many of the conventions that I found when analysing film posters (both from within and from outside of my genre) on my poster.

Here are the conventions I included.

Billing Block - at the bottom of the poster

Film Title - largest copy on the poster

Name of Director - near the title

Social Media Links/Production Company Logos/Sound Logo

Reference to Other Films - from the same genre/by the same director

Release Date - specific and related to genre

Dominant Central Image - typical of the genre featuring female and male leads
